Keeping the Staff Healthy
We usually keep vitamin C in the store in winter to try to keep the staff healthy. EmergenC seems to work best when people feel like they're coming down with something so I keep it handy for the worst of the season

Placebo effect
There is zero clinical evidence that taking megadoses of synthetic Vitamin C has any effect whatsoever, but my wife thinks she feels better when she takes it daily, so it is worthwhile whether or not it does any good.
