I have a large area to cover and needed a mat that would hold up to a big chair on carpet. This mat fills the bill.

Be careful with Cleartex products
I purchased item 777837 about 2 years ago for home use. It started to crack after about 1.5 years. Floortex charges $30 for warranty claims. I suggest reading the fine print on the limited lifetime warranty before purchasing as there are numerous exclusions. The product quality doesn’t live up the premium price. Stay away from Floortex, Cleartex & Computex products.

BE CAREFUL WHEN OPENING
Mat seems great but as mentioned in other reviews, be very careful when opening from box. The mat will spring open quickly and when opened in our office (even though I was cautious), it was faster than me and actually cut my hand pretty good.

Sturdy, but slick
This chair may is very sturdy, so I expect it will last a long time. It is easy to roll around on with my chair, but that is also a con. I use a foot rest under my desk, and when I use that foot rest my chair tends to roll backwards on the mat.

Misleading description
Item not as pictured or described. Picture shows rounded corners. Description says gradient edges. Item actually has very sharp edges including the corners which are not rounded and the edges are not gradient. Very disappointed. Returned to store.
