Staples Notepads, 5" x 8", Narrow Ruled, White
These are great, ruled white writing pads. I use them at work and buy my own supply for home use. My experience is that roller-ball and gel ink does not smear on the white, bleached surface. These notepads are reasonably priced, certainly so if bought in 12-packs. The narrow ruling is not for everyone. If you like to write big or do not want the descenders and ascenders...

Paper like pulp
The paper is like the quality of pulp: it's bright, but very absorbent and ink runs right through it. Ball point pens are fine on it, but if you use a rollerball or fountain pen you should look elsewhere.

I brought the yellow pads mainly writing notes and keeping up with other information facing me on a daily basis. I also bought clip boards the same 5X8 size so I can hang them around in kitchen, rooms and other areas where I might need to make a note about something without having to go hunt for a pad when I need one. 5"x8" narrow ruled notepads
Paper is a good weight; not flimsy so the pen doesn't go through it when you write. Nice to be able to get more than one note pad at a time. One star deduction for the price.
