Works Great
Purchased this to expand my PS4 storage and the setup was easy and straightforward. The loading of games may take a little bit longer but everything functions as expected.

Nice and quiet for Mac backups
Had to upgrade my wife's Time Machine drive to something with more storage. Had an issue with another manufacturer's multi-terabyte SSD, so decided to go back to old-school spinning disk, since it's just for backup. Works well - Great price
I wanted a solid-state external drive to back up my files from my PC. At 2TB and a small compact, pocket size, this works great, I am not using their password protection program (I have my own) and connection to my Windows 10 PC was plug and play. Great SSD at a good price.

Seems to be an excellent product
I keep all my important files on two mirrored external hard drives. That way if one drive fails, I can replace it and copy the data from the surviving drive to the new one. One of my drives failed and I needed a reputable replacement. So far working normally. Good product at a good price. Delivery was on time and no issues with packaging.

SIS NOT LIKE IT
I thought that the device was plug and play. For me I had a very hard time getting the device set up. Even after chatting with Seagate tech support I was not able to set it up. I returned the device. Salesperson said that it wouldn't work on my computer because it was 13 years old. I contacted Seagrave again and they informed me that it should have worked.

Big Problem
It wouldn't show up on my computer. The directions in the package are useless. I have to bring it in to the store with my computer to see if they can get it to work.

I am pleased with the size and speed of this hard drive. Very happy that it's compatible with Mac & PC without having to format. I recommend this hard drive. I haven't had it long enough to find out how long it lasts before crashing (if it even will).
