Used once. Never worked again
I backed up my whole system on the Seagate and next time I used it, wouldn't even show up on the desktop. Staples had to replace it. For that price, this shouldn't happen.

Seagate One Touch 4TB
Easy set up for drag and drop of files. Tried to set up TimeMachine for an iMac and the Seagate drive can’t be found. Bought two, plan on returning the one that is undiscoverable.

Great backup solution

I have purchased several Seagate external hard drives. They are great when they work but they only last about 2 years before they stop working or have major malfunctions. Be sure to back up the files on this drive to another drive as once it stops working you will lose all of the files stored on it. Quality backup drive
Very pleased with the new Seagate backup drive for my mac. It was very easy to install and is making regular backup files in Time Machine on my Mac computer. I have owned several Seagate products over the years and am still very pleased with the quality and high performance of their products.

Frustrated
I was hoping to be able to also add files to the disk and use it as an external drive - like I had on another external drive. BUT, I was NOT able to do so. I took this drive and my MacBook Air, and the Apple help desk person had trouble as well. FINALLY, he figured out, he would add another volume and changed the 'coding' so now I can add my files.
