It does not work for signings!
The gel ink can be wider sometimes and it smears. Not my favorite pen!~ Sorry

Not able to write in certain paper. Ink misses spaces you have to go over again.

LOVE SHARPIE PENS, BUT……
I love these pens, but I do have a complaint. With each package or box of pens I purchase, there are always a few pens who are inferior to the others. They fail to write smoothly in some way or the ink flow isn’t as good. I would like to get exactly what I pay for!

I think this pen is great. I don't have any issues with writing or any smears at all. I am right-handed and maybe a left-handed person has more problems with smears.
