Good solution for Apple Airbook with external drives

Works as advertised
This unit adds the additional inputs needs for my new iMac. However, my external CD player needs power along with the USB port. This unit’s USB does not provide electricity.

When 1 USB-C Port isn't enough!
Works as advertised, plus you get the option to recharge your device at the same time (albeit slowly). No complaints with this device.

Bad port
The HDMI port is not working. I have been using the USB port and all worked fine. I just tried to hook up the HDMI monitor and it did not work. 4 months old. Could have been bad all along. just tried it

Loved J5create Multi-Port Hub
The J5Create Multi-Port Hub was easy to install. I was able to connect my Dell monitor (HDMI) and WD MyPassport external drive (USB) in seconds. All work flawlessly.
