very disappointed
The scanner feed is junk. It takes a lot of effort to get one page to feed thought without jamming. The copy function leaves a 1 inch black gap in the center of every page.

EpsonET-3850 printer
Just OK. Seems high maintenance. I have a 15-year-old Canon Pixma MX860 that never gave me any problems. But I can't update the drivers to Windows 11, so I have to recycle a device that still works perfectly. In comparison, everything today on the market is cheap junk, so that's what we're forced to buy. This latest included ().

Cheap printer
This printer is cheap feeling and VERY loud when it prints! its ok for printing regular letters, but DONT try to print a fancy invite with lots of colors -it comes out faded and light colors. I felt for the cost ($399.00) it would have been WAY better. At this point I could have spent the extra $ and gotten the Epson 16000

new printer
So far prints well. Pictures quality is even good though rated fair. Not set up for photo paper but the regular paper printing was very good. Set up not too hard. Our tech person wasn't too stressed with direction. 1 issue with connecting Wi-Fi but was easy fix in computer settings. Forgot to change setting on computer. Love the 2-side print feature. Have yet to us...

Great Printer
I like the size of the printer, the quality of the print, and the ease of filling the ink.

Nice home office printer
Of course I spent several weeks reading all the reviews and it seemed all the tank printers were adequate but each had their own pros and cons. I was sick of overpriced cartridges and determined I wouldn't buy another one. I asked owners their opinions and HP and Epson seemed equally reliable. I finally chose the Epson because it was the company that had the most experi...

From ink cartridges to ink bottles
Had an Epson Work Force for close to 10 years that worked just fine till one ink cartridge became clogged and stayed clogged. I would still be using it otherwise. Very good printer. Switched to the ET-3850 because I had a good run with the older one. I've only used it for about a week. Haven't made any color copies yet. Not crazy about all the button pushing to get s...

Nice all in one BUT!
Printer works great but the scanning will not work with windows 11. I had to download and pay for a Microsoft scanning program so I could use this as a scanner which was the main reason I purchased it.

Not Happy
It was so hard to set up and we still are unable to use all of the features because every little thing wants you to subscribe to one thing or another we tried to send something by scanning and it was so hard and could not figure it out … just wish we never purchased the darn thing . Didn’t know you had to be a Harvard grad to use it .

Decent little printer
I got one a couple months ago and it has been nothing but reliable. I haven't had any problems with the os. The only thing that I dont like about it is that the power light does not have a sleep mode in it. So if the printer is on that light stays on.

Noisy and slow
It is noisier and slower than I expected, but it seems to be a consistent, steady performer. The print quality is good, even on glossy paper. Have not tried paper that is heavier than normal.

Bad service, no warranty service, bad duplexer.
Bought a et3580. customer service is a nightmare. They barely speak English. I made four phone calls and still cannot get the automatic feeder to print on both sides. I asked for warranty department and Jenny would not connect me. Another rep (I couldn't understand her name) told me this model does not print both sides from the paper feeder, only from the manual paper c...

Do not buy the ET-3850 !
This was my worse Epson purchase. The 1 star is for the EcoTank., it does save ink and easy to fill. BUT I'm still on my 1st fill. I want to return this and get a different model. I'm sure somewhere in the fine print it points out that the control panel is a MANUAL screen non touch. I would be okay with that, if I didn't have to scroll through with the arrows for simple...

Okay but standard Epson lack of longevity
Highly recommend you do NOT buy. Once waste ink pad is full you can NOT replace it. Page 219 in manual states not a user replaceable item. Have to take it to authorized dealer! Good luck finding and then getting raked over the coals! Printer ends up in landfill because Epson won’t let you change it!

Possible, but difficult, to connect to a Chromebook.
I bought this model for home and small business use for me and the rest of my family to use. The two main features were the ink tanks (not cartridges) and the document feeder. I intended to use it with both my Windows 11 HP PC and a Lenovo Chromebook.
It turns out that the printer is not visible to my Lenovo Chromebook. EVENTUALLY, I figured out how to install it using...
