Printer performs well.
Everything I have done went perfectly without problems. My only concerns at present is learning how to load #10 envelopes. I found instructions on line that explained it very well. Set the paper guides, envelopes go face down with flap on left side, print landscape mode. I will try this to be sure! It was hard to find this info if it is in the manual.

Dead on arrival!
Bought this to replace an older HP printer (HP’s recommended “replacement” model). Unfortunately it was nonfunctional out of the box. The HP app diagnosed a paper tray that wasn’t lifting. No More HP
Generally speaking it is an ok printer. The biggest problem I have found is that It can’t print spreadsheets and dealing with HP technical and executive people is big a waste of time. This printer does the job & then some!
We like the printer & the way it flips the page for the second side of page. Our other (HP) printer was very basic & we had to manually, turn the paper over for printing the other side.

Didn't last long
This was purchased just one year ago, Sept. The scanner was never great as most came through crooked sometimes the paper would catch and crinkle. Now it will not copy from the feed as the paper comes out blank. Would not recommend. Warranty is 30 days.

HP black and white printer
I worked in the computer field for over fifty years. HP is a trusted name in printers Staples had the largest selection in any brick and mortar store. Don’t waiste you time going any where else. I also got a $30 rebate for my old printer.

Easy to set up and works well. The HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3101fdw is an excellent value. If I could improve anything, it would be the 'home screen' which is a little small and hard to use.
