Don't Buy HP Printers.. HP smart app doesnt work
I have used HP printers for years. HP added the HP smart print app a few years ago and the app doesnt work half the time. I just purchased a laser printer 4101fdw and set it up. It looks great but it has its problems. During setup it would not stay connected so I could set it up in my browser. Then it told me it needed to update software. After it would stay connected. Does the job
I mostly use it for printing 8 1/2 x 11. Sometimes for envelopes. Might use it for copying or scanning, nice to have the capability. In general, I use my iPhone for scanning.

Robust product
We purchased for the scan to email cabaility. Works well with the press of 2 buttons the document is on its way. Double sided printing is nice and LCD display is user intuitive.

We have 3 of these - they keep saying "jam in document feeder" when there is nothing in the document feeder - we have to power off the printer to get rid of the error message - it's very irritating ...
