Smudge of toner on envelopes
I like the printer - however, envelopes print out with toner smudges on envelope next to sender address - does not look professional.

Horrible printer - Complete waste of money
I always thought Canon was a good product. However, this is the worst printer I have ever purchased. I have had it for about 7 weeks. In that time the paper has jammed multiple times. I tried putting less paper in the tray or having it completely full and it jams either way.

You can do better
Software difficult for my professional IT tech to install. A call to Canon tech support confirmed that the software could not be programmed for the auto feeder. He had to return to the set up when it didn't print. Product good; ease of use, not so good.

It was hard to set up the printer which now works well. It required two calls to the Staples help service to do so. It would help if a manual came with the printer

Excellent printer/scanner/copier
Lightning speed, scan and print quality is excellent! Setup was just a tad difficult at first but that was because I didn't follow the directions very well. I highly recommend it. Just make sure you follow the direction in the setup guide!

Works great with AirPrint
Nice little printer. Some others I’ve had were a bit flakey with AirPrint, but this one works great. At first I was disappointed that the top resolution for the scanner showed 300 dpi, but I called Canon support, who were very helpful, and they told me to download the utilities that let me set it at 600 dpi. I’m very happy!
