Easy entry into Windows 11
Bought this because none of the computers I currently have are updateable to Windows 11. Easy start up, so far I like it very much.

Mislead
Purchased this specifically because the Staples website showed it had a backlite keyboard. When it arrived, I discovered it didn't. Poor advertising on Staples part. Not sure how many other specs don't match as I'm just getting started. Check the manufacture specs before purchasing as you can't trust the Staples specs.

We were interested in a laptop on sale. When we went back to purchase it, it was still on display but not only none stocked, but none planned on ever on being in restocked...? We purchased it from the store. Windham but had to go to Portland to pick it up.

Nice Laptop for the Money
Nice Laptop for the Money, I wish it had a RJ45 port so I can connect "hard wire) to the internet. The lack of a CD-ROM Drive and shortage of USB ports is a concern. I will have to but extra external devices, such as a cdrom drive, USB-C dongle to connect to the internet and a USB Hub. The extra cost takes away from the decent price of the laptop. BJ

So far, very good
I owned an HP laptop several years ago, then later had a Dell and then ASUS. Due to dropping my laptops (and the screen blipping and unable to use), I needed to purchase a new laptop. Hopefully this HP laptop will last for many years.

I’m having a hard time with it. Even though it is almost identical to the one it is replacing just a newer version and the info was just transferred from one to the other I don’t recall having such a difficult time the last time I did this. I suppose I’ll get used to it.

Steer clear of this one, folks.
Main pinch points: Keyboard has very little contrast. It's monotone, more or less, and the keys don't stand out clearly. Battery life is abysmal. Since there's no removeable battery, like every other laptop I've ever owned, once it goes this 'mobile' PC becomes a mini-desktop. There is no way to add RAM, either.
