GREAT PRODUCT SO FAR
Nice printer with copy and scan feature too. I have only used the print feature and so far I LOVE IT. Seems to be a great product for the price.

Printer unacceptable
Arrived and could not print photos in color. They were faded. Colors from web ads were ok, but direct photos on either inkjet or photo paper were unacceptable. Returned printer.

Vanon pixma printer
Printer works vey well. It was easy to set up and hopefully the ink expenses will be less than the last Canon PIXMA printer.

Canon printer
Light weight. Prints well. Copies well. Would be helpful to have some basic instruction on how to make it do copies, rather than have to go to internet to look it up. The printer does turn itself off, rather than going to a holding pattern. So you have to turn it on before printing if you only print sporadically.

No Frills Workhorse Copier/Scanner
I was looking for an upgrade that was not wireless (i.e. with a cable) and this was what was suggested by the helpful customer service person. The machine works as expected with no glitches at all.

Some learning curve
I needed a scanner for tax season. The printer did fine the first time. After the power outage, the printer went offline. I couldn't figure out how to get it back online to have the instruction come from the computer. It does scan to the computer from the printer itself. A lot of time and confusion and I still don't understand the instructions to scan from the comp...

Canon Pixma wins the day
Nifty and inexpensive — does a great job. Prints fast, was easy to connect to my Mac laptop, doesn’t take a lot of room on my desk and was a great price for the product. My last Canon lasted almost 10 years, I hope this does the same.
