The perfectly portable precision cutting machine!
This little powerhouse is AMAZING. I am astounded at the precision cutting of the Xtra, no matter how intricate of a design I throw its way. I would always take my Joy with me to crafting classes and events (even vacation) because the Maker 3 was just too cumbersome to disconnect and load/unload. Bought this for my wife for her crafting room. We spent 5 hours trying to print, ended up giving up and put it back in the box. Nothing but error after error. Uninstall the software reinstall the software over and over. No matter what size paper we put in, it said paper is to small. It had the paper size wrong every time. Great Purchase!

Just right for a home DIYer
I downgraded from an Explorer Air 2. I’m enjoying my Joy Xtra. I like that it’s compact, portable and just right for the projects I do for myself, family and friends.

Great product!
Make sure you get mats when you purchase, if you plan to use paper and anything not listed as “Smart”! Love the size and ease of use! Absolutely a great products and size.

Garbage company, garbage machine.
This machine is mediocre at best, it cuts and writes okay but the sensor for print then cut broke from using the print then cut sticker paper (made by cricut). They don’t even let you send your machine in for repairs, they expect you to just spend another 200 dollars for a new machine.

Hard to Find the Right Vinyl
It's hard to find the options for vinyl to fit the Joy. I wish I had bought the larger Cricut that takes 12" wide vinyl.

Exceeded all my expectations
I hesitated to buy this little machine for months. But I’m so glad I did! It’s perfect for personalizing my clients’ items with their pets’ names (or other custom messages). The results of my first test exceeded all my expectations!

Unfair Warranty Policy
I bought a Cricut Joy Extra which I believe is damaged with a paper guide that is pressed in on itself. It damaged a brand new mat. Prior to the damaged mat the machine was not accepting the mat. Great machine!

Do your homework before purchase
Been looking at Cricuts for a couple of years and finally decided to get one for my Xmas present when I saw the Joy Xtra. Price on sale was right and it looked like all the features were good.
