My old Amazon Fire died, so I recycled it at Staples.

Non-versatile
I was surprised to discover that the charging port is single purpose and accessories are not possible - returned it for an ipad.

Too bright, returned
Bought to replace my dead Kindle. Brightness bothered my eyes, yet when I turned it down, the print was harder to see. Staples was very good about my return, easy. Discovered I like reading on my iPhone’s Kindle app better than either.

Amazon's Tablet 10.1” version 2023 after two hours playing start frizzing images, showing black images, and interrupting audio. I’ll return I Staples this Saturday 12/07/24 for refund.

What a disappointment
Clerk in store said all my apps and games would strangers from the old fire. NOT. Had to start from scratch. So sad.
I do like the larger format. But it's taking me days to figure out the changes. Not easy tutorial.
