A great printer, new to the market
I print a wide variety of materials, from letters to concert posters to music for my community band to perform from, and this printer is excellent for all of that. And the price is fantastic! It arrived very quickly and I had it up and ready to go on my desk within only a few minutes.

Hard to Install, Very loud, Scan software terrible
I bought this for my home office and for the ability to scan large documents. It was a major mistake not to set up an HP web account before installing it and the software.
Issue 1: There is no workaround to the fact it can only be registered using the HP Smart app.

This printer does everything.
I love this printer. It prints standard and legal sheets which I need for my business. The price was extremely reasonable. I've used many printers over the years, but I will say I think this one is the best all around one I've ever used.

Advertised as a all in one but does not have fax option, very misleading. When scanning multiple documents as one set it sends all pages as separate pages. Not real happy with it at the moment but will check to see if there is something in the setting to change this.

sold with a manufacturer defect
The original order said was going to arrive on 2/20 and then delivery date was changed to 2/24. When it arrived we discovered after calling HP directly that there was a manufacturers defect. Why was this sold and shipped if this was a know issue?

The HP support person wasn't able to help me setup my printer and said it wasn't compatible to what I was trying to do. I will not call Hp for anything they wanted to charge me when I have a 4yr warranty

HP Officejet Pro 9730e
One of the best printers. Highly recommend it for Home or Business use. Instructions on the Printer is on the internet but not easily found. Once you are able to download the Software and Firmware, required to allow the communication between the Printer and the Computer everything falls into place. So far the HP Officejet Pro 9730e is working fine. Bobby

We like the printer
It does all the print work we come to expect from a HP Printer. It is a little slow for the first sheet of paper but very fast with the rest of the printing. If you have big printing from a home office as we do I would recommend this unit.
