Pretty Sweet
First I tried the printer/USB cable and it printed from my iMac computer. I didn’t even need to download any software. Next, I tried wireless from my iPad, just needed to make sure that they were both on the same Wi-Fi network and it printed great, no new software required. It’s a pretty sweet printer and meets my needs perfectly.

Unfortunately we had to return it
Hooked it up and it made a copy and printed a page. It would not scan the second date it stopped print in and copying. We deleted the printer and divers and downloaded the installation again. Still had problems so we returned it

Printer won’t wake up when I send a WiFi print job
Won’t wake up when I send print job over WiFi; this is the same problem I had with my previous brother printer which I replaced with this one thinking new would solve the problem. Problem u solved. This renders my printing experience over WiFi useless.

No user manuel included
I can't believe that a user manual was not included with the delivery. I calledBrother customer service to ask them to send me one. They told me they couldn't do that, but I could print one out from an online link. However, it was hundreds of pages and I didn't want to use up my copy paper and ink cartridge. Almost perfect
The machine prints and scans and copies seamlessly. I have no problem printing wirelessly from my computer, which happens to be on a different floor. i have not, however, figured out how to send scans from the printer to my computer. I don't know why the wifi connection only works in one direction.

Good hardware, bad software
The printer itself is good. Functionality requires you install a lot of software that wasn't necessary with previous models-- the bloat is unfortunately real. It has everything we need.
We are loving our new brother printer. This printer replaced and nearly identical model that didn’t have the ability to print wirelessly. Now we can print from our iPad or iPhone anywhere on the network. It just works!

Happy Printer! Was able to use very quickly!
Terrific printer! Easy to unpack & set up & use! Great quality & sharp print. Got me back in service right away. Ink cartridge is very economical. Size is manageable in home office space, too. Very pleased with quality & ease of use.

This is a Mikey Mouse printer if I've ever seen one. In order to type anything into it you have to go through the entire alphabet plus numbers for every single letter you want to type in. Really? Do better.

Great printer, but painful setup
This printer has been great so far. Its fast and prints smoothly.
The one problem was the setup process was very annoying.
