All sSpeakers are on the bottom
I checked out all the features and thought it was a good choice. However, it has one major flaw. The speakers are on the bottom of the laptop. My old hp had them on the top and bottom. HP needs to change this. I am hard of hearing and cannot hear it loud enough to use without closed captioning. I have adjusted everything I can. If I could return it and get one with spea...

Replaces a 9 year old I3 with this computer
The Staples tech service was great, from selecting the new system to instructing me on how to set it up, to educating me about how it works. I was amazed by how fast it is. Finally, I had a live person at the Staples tech desk who answered all my questions.

The laptop comes in two boxes, one tight in box (good) that box in larger box with minimum large bubble insulation, not enough. The inner box sounded like a baseball bouncing around inside.
I consider that very unacceptable, I paid over $500.00

I have not had this electronic for a year but my speaker is going in and out durning zoom meetings and the camera is going from clear to green..

Purchased this laptop about a week ago and still trying to figure things out. One thing I don't like is the life of the battery. There is NO way that this laptop get 8-9 hours. I'd say more like 1 1/2 to maybe 2 hours of life. Unless I'm not seeing something that needs to be adjusted I'm somewhat disturbed by this. I rate this laptop at 4 out of 5.

Most problems using new software
I was upgrading from an old hp and into Windows 11. Many things different from my old computer. I wish I had been told what to expect. I had trouble finding the on/off button - its on the keyboard.
The size and feel of the keyboard is great (my old one was larger but so heavy.)
Using a new ergo mouse has a learning curve, the staples tech was able to help me with that...

Low memory, should be at least 16GB.
So far I like it. It’s a pity though HP launched this model with 12GB instead of the standard 16GB. They should offer a free upgrade for those who purchased this model.
