I have been using this brand for several years, my cases are starting to wear out so I purchased this thinking it would be the same. It is not.
The flow is not smooth or consistent, frequently cutting out. These are not at all the same EnerGel as the pens in the metal case.

I would buy this product again
The color is true and it writes very smoothly. The ink does not bleed through on normal paper making it very versatile.T.he clip is strong and doesn't feel like it will break. The clicker on top moves freely making writing quicker and dependable.
The overall function of the pen seems very smooth. I enjoy using a dependable pen, knowing I can count on it every time

Great Pen
This is a great pen. I have not had any problems with it to date. It is inexpensive yet great quality. I would definitely purchase this item over and over again. It is great for just about any use, does not smear, and is a striking color made to get attention when used. First One Didn't Retract
I like how thia pen writes, and even though it is open and not retracting the ink is flowing and plentiful. But it should retract!
