I've used these for at least a decade. The three-hole punch and wide line width are two favorite features, plus the cardboard on the back is strong, so I can carry the pad without having to add a thick folder/binder. I usually take a pad inside a simple pocket folder, and the pages I've written on go into a pocket (along with any handouts) until I get home to file them.

Not the same as in the store
This Staples brand "Double Pad" is not the same as the Staples brand Double Pad you find in the store. This paper is cheap, thin, and off-color (not bright white.)

Incorrectly lined
i cant figure out for whom this notebook is designed. The "heading" or white space is at the bottom on the back side of the page. This would work if keeping the pages in the pad and simply flipping the pages over. However, these are 3-hole punched. I intended to tear the pages out and store in a binder. Completely unworkable for what I had planned.

best pads around
I have been buying these pads for over 10 years, I love them. The three hole punch allows me to take notes and then put them in the corresponding binders. The double thick backing is great because it allows me to take notes as I walk with the client. The pads are sturdy!

Annoying flaw
These pads are sturdy with good quality paper. The backing is stiff enough that I can take notes anywhere, even with the pad on my lap, so I don't need to carry it in a bulky portfolio. The paper is a good weight and accepts many different types of ink and pencil. The only downside is that the holes are punched too far from the edge of the paper so that in a 1/2" or 1 "...

These are my favorite pad because they are 3 hole punched and have a perforated top and the double thick pad is great. I have been using them for years.

My favorite scribble pad!
The are a must have for quick notes and copying all my phone messages. Good quality - love that it has binder holes if I need to save in a binder and the wide rule helps with bad eye site - Toto were not in college anymore!

Good Firm Backing
Good back with 100 pages each. I had a half of the pads (3 out of 6) came with a red stains on every other page. It's the same color as the margin lines but it doesn't make the Pads unusable
Other than that, they are pricey but doubles well as a writing surface for taking notes on the go.
