SanDisk Intelligent Design
I bought these on purpose because they are the only BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE devices back to Rev 2.0 so that LEGACY data can be stored by any machine and opened on any machine. This is of utmost importance in a world where upgrade-extortion in the business model. Newer is almost never better and quality always wins over how fast you stored your data.

San Disc Is Perfect for Storing My TV Shows
The body size makes it easy to label. So, I know in the future what is stored there. The 16 g capacity is sufficient for my uses. The product stored there does not degrade. It is useful for when my external hard drive stops storing material or breaks down.

Never had a problem with this brand. I bought it to replace a Lexar drive that I bought on sale at Staples. Unfortunately the Lexar brand failed with 8 months of stored files and photos. The people at Staples have been unable to retrieve the information and referred me to an outside company that wants $100 to "try" and retrieve the information.
