Polycarbonate, not vinyl
That makes all the difference. Your chair won't sink into this mat like it will with a vinyl mat. I've had a polycarbonate mat I've used for 20 years before I bought this replacement. It will probably last another 20 years.

Absolute Junk
This mat lasted 2 weeks before it began breaking into pieces. It was pure junk.

Sliping and sliding.
The chair mat does not stay in place, but works it's way backwards I think the teeth are not long enough.

Not Good on carpet
Edges lift when walked upon, mat slides. Definately not worth the price. The only plus is that it does not indent from sitting on it!

So so Mat
Even though the mat has spikes on the bottom side, it slides all over the place even on short carpeting. It feels pretty sturdy at least for now.
