Polycarbonate, not vinyl
That makes all the difference. Your chair won't sink into this mat like it will with a vinyl mat. I've had a polycarbonate mat I've used for 20 years before I bought this replacement. It will probably last another 20 years.

Absolute Junk
This mat lasted 2 weeks before it began breaking into pieces. It was pure junk.

Good While It Lasts
I liked this product for 10 months, and then it started to crack. It's like a windshield on a car. Once it cracks it just keeps getting worse and worse. For the price, I didn't expect getting 20 years of wear, but I expected more than 10 months.

Good So Far
The last chair mat I had was too small, and I kept rolling the chair off of it. After a while it started breaking up. I bought it off the rack at Staples in Temple. This one is larger and supposedly stronger. Time will tell.

Chair mat
Despite hundreds of teeth on underside, the mat walks across my shag rug. Due to its flexibility, it can be anchored under desk feet. There is a minor tripping hazard on mat edges. Ideally edges should be rounded down.

Great floor mat. Cannot believe it does not have a scratch at all Believe this will be just like the manufacturer stated. Don't waste time with the cheap versions of floor mats. Floortex is awesome.

Great Floormat
We now have 4 of them in our office. They are fabulous. No marks in the mat when you sit in the same place for a while. Chairs roll easily. No static electricity. Work great on our low berber carpeting. We will continue to order this mat as our cheaper mats wear out.

The mat is incredible and very sturdy. No issue with the mat, just Staples because it took them so long to deliver it and it finally arrived the day I left town and wasn't home. Thankfully I have an awesome neighbor who saw it and took it in for us.
