Black Labels

We're all familiar with white labels. They're ubiquitous in offices all around the world. But black labels are also hugely popular for many kinds of projects. Bold white or metallic type on a black label is easy to read, hard to dismiss, and can do a better job of grabbing attention than plain white. This makes black labels an ideal choice when you want your labeling project to have some personality and really stand out.

Black labels look fantastic with bright, handwritten lettering.
Because black labels are so dark, they don't work well in printers. Even bright colors are hard to see on the black background. That's why we recommend you use hand-lettering on all of these labels. If you use white, metallic silver, or metallic gold ink markers, whatever you write on the black labels will pop and be easy to read. In particular, those metallic colors make a bold statement when they're contrasted against the dark background.
