What Are Catalog Envelopes?
Catalog envelopes, also referred to as open-end envelopes, are a type of envelope designed to open and seal on one end and are large enough to hold most documents without having to bend them, as opposed to more traditional letter-size envelopes. These envelopes have a center seam which makes them more durable for mailing heavy-weight materials, hence the name. Catalog envelopes vary in size, weight, color and even texture and are often used in business for lengthy reports and multipage documents. What’s the Difference Between Catalog Envelopes and Booklet Envelopes?
Though both are popular types of business envelopes, there is a difference. Catalog envelopes open on the shorter end. Booklet envelopes are designed with the opening on the long end.
